About Us

Our Story

Founded on November 26, 2022, Brielle Cosmetics emerged in Accra, Ghana as a beacon of luxury, cruelty-free, and vegan beauty. In an industry often marred by compromise, we sought to redefine beauty standards, ensuring that elegance could coexist harmoniously with ethical and sustainable practices. Our commitment to quality and compassion quickly garnered attention, leading British Vogue to reach out to us in January 2023, just a mere two months after our inception and to feature us in their March, April, and May 2023 editions.

Brielle Cosmetics is not just a brand; it's a movement towards a more conscious and luxurious beauty experience. We offer a curated range of hydrating and nourishing lip glosses, comprehensive lip care products including lip masks and scrubs, exquisite lashes to elevate your look, and pigmented lip liners. Each product is meticulously crafted to enhance your natural beauty while nurturing your lips with the finest ingredients.

OUR FOUNDER

From model- pageant queen- influencer- brand ambassador - entrepreneur.

Gabriella Nokoe, commonly known as Gabrielle was deeply inspired by her parents' dedication to academia, and innovation, fostering a drive for excellence and creativity in her own pursuits. Her journey is a remarkable tale of ambition, resilience, and innovation.

Gabrielle's modeling career began early, gracing runways at the age of 11. Her innate talent and passion for the beauty and modeling industry quickly became evident. Seeking new horizons, she moved to Kenya to pursue an LLB degree, where her prowess extended beyond the classroom. In her first month in Kenya, she was photographed by one of the biggest photographers in Kenya, Emmanuel Jambo, and within three months, she was featured in one of the top East African magazines, Drum Magazine.

It didn’t end there. In her first year, Gabrielle made history by winning her university's beauty pageant, MISS CUEA 2016/17, becoming the first first-year student to compete among third- and fourth-year students. She represented the university at events and important meetings. This victory led to an invitation from the university to train models, marking the beginning of her dual journey in law and modeling. As MISS CUEA, she visited and stayed for a couple of months in both Egypt and Tanzania.

Her success in the pageant and subsequent training role solidified her reputation, leading her to train models annually and eventually establish her own modeling and hostessing agency, Brielle Model Management. This agency, which now operates solely in Ghana, has become a beacon for aspiring models, hostesses, and talents.

In 2017, inspired by her experiences in pageantry and modeling, Gabrielle conceived the idea for Brielle Cosmetics. Frustrated with the heavy makeup required for pageants, she began creating her own lip glosses in her university hostel. She would often wipe off a bold lip that a makeup artist had applied and quickly replace it with her hydrating, long-lasting, cruelty-free, vegan clear lip gloss.

Gabrielle then began influencing and working with some of the top brands in Kenya, such as Gillette Kenya, Oribi Expeditions, Samantha Bridal, Marini Naturals, and Big Square, and she also featured in Couture Magazine, to name a few. Her reputation as a respected influencer continued to grow even before she moved back to Ghana in October 2020 and began working with Inner Circle, an international agency based in the UK.

In 2019, Gabrielle was a recipient of the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Awards and was selected out of numerous entrepreneurs who had applied to this program. She participated in training, received funding for a business she co-founded in Kenya, Zuree Dolls, and attended a conference in Nigeria with other African entrepreneurs, further enhancing her business acumen.

She broke new ground as the first Ghanaian to work with PrettyLittleThing, a leading UK clothing brand, influencing for them for over three years. Her impressive portfolio includes collaborations with MTN, Bolt, Dove, Johnnie Walker, Miniso, HairSenta, Prikels, Safari Valley, and Taag Ghana, among many others. Notably, she hosted a travel trip to Kenya and Dubai with Abton Crafters.

Her journey, which began in her university hostel in Kenya, reached the Ghanaian market on November 26, 2022. Inspired by her mother, who always emphasized the importance of vegan products for the hair, face, and lips, Gabrielle founded Brielle Cosmetics.

Brielle Cosmetics has experienced incredible success, surpassing all expectations. Gabrielle's extensive experience and network from her time in Kenya and Ghana played a significant role in this achievement. Brielle Cosmetics stands out for its commitment to luxury, cruelty-free, and vegan products that enhance natural beauty. One of the brand's notable accomplishments was being featured in British Vogue, a testament to its quality and appeal.

In March 2023, she was invited by the University of Professional Studies to speak to communication students on a panel for a Masterclass on PR, Branding, and Content Creation, sharing insights on business and personal branding. In March 2024, she was also invited by Stay By Plan podcast to discuss her journey on a panel in entrepreneurship at their live podcast show.

Gabrielle has engaged in a long-term partnership with the Lake Club in Akosombo, Ghana, to host the Lake Club Gala. This event had its debut on November 25, 2023, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Brielle Cosmetics. They have successfully organized two editions, bringing together women entrepreneurs and professionals from various sectors, creating a vibrant networking space for women.

She also co-founded For Her Ghana, a non-profit organization under Brielle Model Management in collaboration with Tech Femme. This initiative focuses on eradicating period poverty and promoting girl child education, reflecting her commitment to social impact.

In September 2024, Gabrielle became an alumna of Cornell University, receiving a certificate from Cornell for the Bank of America Women Entrepreneurship Program. This program provided her with advanced professional training in product development, business skills, marketing, negotiation, and other related areas.

Gabrielle Nokoe's story is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and vision. From a young model to a successful entrepreneur, her journey embodies dedication to excellence, innovation, and empowerment. Through Brielle Cosmetics, she continues to inspire individuals to embrace their unique beauty.
